Austin Film Festival Needs You

The Austin Film Festival and Screenwriters' Conference depends on volunteers to make their amazing events a success. They're putting out a call to volunteers beginning now and running through the Festival & Conference (October 19 - 26). And we don't wanna hear any of this, "I'm too busy to help" nonsense, as volunteer shifts are available both day and night, weekdays and weekends.
In addition to being an integral part of one of the best film festivals in the country, volunteering also offers you a chance to get a film pass (admission to all regular screenings during the Festival) with as few as 15 hours, and with more hours put in the rewards get better. If you're 21 or older, you can even earn admission to the Closing Night party for hours worked during the Festival.
There's an informational meeting at the Festival offices (1604 Nueces) Saturday, Oct. 14th at 1pm where you can meet the staff, learn more about the Festival and Conference, and sign up to volunteer.
If you've heard anough already, volunteer now by e-mailing the folks at AFF or by calling 478-4795.
