Dude, We're All Over it

We’ve already brought to your attention most of this week’s theatre and dance openings, but here’s a quick refresher, just in case you haven’t been paying attention:

We Are Normal, Cha Cha Chaaa: a new dance epic from the Yellow Tape Construction Co featuring Cari P from Fancy Feast and Belaire. Read our preview, or check out our photos.

At Home With Dick 2: the Dick Price musical. All singing, all dancing, Alzheimer’s. Check out our preview (with links to music from the show)!

Inside a Broken Clock: A Tom Waits Peepshow: dancing bears, prostitutes, weird German vaudeville and more, all set to Tom Waits music. Dig on the preview, Holmes.

Stillborn: a new play by Monika Bustamante guaranteed to make you weep. Directed by Andrea Skola. Big ups to my homies in the preview.

BAM! Festival: it's the final weekend of the Black Arts Movement Festival. Don't miss out, or you'll feel like a total jackass. Take me to your preview.

Requiem: ok, we didn’t preview this show. But we saw the first time it ran back in June, and loved it hardcore. Tonight, tomorrow and Sunday at the Intel Building at 4th and San Antonio. Go to the Blue Lapis Light website for details. Word.

Primero Paso: A Latino Playwriting Festival: we didn’t preview this either. But that’s alright, ‘cause we’re telling you know. Teatro Vivo and Austin Script Works come together to present readings of six new plays, a workshop, and a “Paaaaaaarty!”. The opening night keynote is tonight at 6pm, tomorrow’s workshop starts at 2pm, and the play readings are tomorrow at 8pm. All at the Vortex, with more info at the ASW site.

The Rocky Horror Show: our last preview-less entry, but you already know all about this one, right? If not, educate thyself. Featuring the return of Austin darling (and humpy hunk -Ed.) Joe York as Frank N. Furter, of course. Zach Scott brings you this ever-favorite, Halloweeny treat. Running thru November 12, Th/Fr/Sa at 8pm, Su at 2:30/7pm. Tix via Zach's website.

For everything still running from weeks prior, keep it real with last week’s TWIT.
