Rock 'n Roll Garage Sale to Benefit Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk
It's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our friends at Tito's Vodka are doing their part by participating in the upcoming Susan G. Komen Foundation Breast Cancer 3-Day. They'll be making the 60-mile trek from Dallas to Fort Worth on foot, all in the hopes of raising a little money for research efforts. You can help 'em out by donating goods for their Rock N Roll Garage Sale, happening tomorrow evening at Momo's. They're accepting all types of music memorabilia, CDs, or whatever's "taking up too much space in your garage" -- bring it over to the venue today or tomorrow.
And a little over a month from now is the annual Race For the Cure. Join the 4,200 folks who've signed up online already, either to participate in the race or volunteer.
The numbers are staggering: this year, a woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes, and more than 42,000 will succumb to it. Help out if you can, won't you?
