Austinist Giveaway: Jet at La Zona Rosa

Australia's Jet have been rocking full-steam ahead since their debut, Dirty Sweet in 2002. In 2003, Get Born (the first full-length) stunned audiences down under and elsewhere, rocketing the band to international stardom. Their 60's rock/pop influences (think Rolling Stones, Beatles, and any number of derivative bands you've listened to since them) have earned them opening slots with the likes of Oasis and The Rolling Stones, and their latest offering, Shine On, will be available on October 2 of this year.

One thing is for sure: Jet know how to put on a good show. Their swagger and proud status as throw-back kings make them a good bet for any hip Austin crowd, and you know what that means: you're invited.
