Fix 290 Meeting Tonight

There will be a meeting of the Fix290 Coalition tonight at 7 PM at the ACC Pinnacle Campus, 7748 Highway 290 West in the Student Commons Room. The meeting will include an update on the group's status, a special presentation from Houston's StopTXDotNow, a group who successfully stopped elevated lanes through their community, and a discussion of ways to help.

If you can't attend the meeting (or even if you can) you can sign the online petition supporting the Fix290 concept.

We'd prefer no new highways at all, but a smaller new highway on the ground is better than a giant new highway in the sky. Fight the power! Down with the highway/industrial complex!
