Boy Band Mania Redux at Alamo Downtown

Did you know Justin Timberlake was destined for greatness even before he went solo? Can you recall NKOTB changing the face of music with their much-maligned image transformation? Do you like girls that wear Abercrombie & Fitch? Does chinese food make you sick?

If you answered yes to any of the previous questions, break out your ersatz hairbrush microphones and leave your dignity at the door! Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's downtown location is hosting a video sing-along with all of your favorite boy bands from the 80s and 90s. They're all gonna be there, from Menudo and New Kids On The Block to 98 Degrees and N'SYNC, like zombies resurrected from pop culture's dustbin for a series of gigs just for li'l ol' you (and a cozy auditorium of your comrades). So bring your friends to split a bucket of your favorite brew, and for one night be the extra member of the well-manicured, hyper-produced, corporation-spawned hottie crew of your choice.

Just what you've always wanted and kept bottled up inside all these years!

Cedar Fever is the new best boy band in Austin, ever. Catch it!

Yo- Dogzzz. Cedar Fever will be releasing their new cd Gratuitous Dudity tonight (Sept. 27th) at Mohawks. The night will also feature a bunch of local bands doing boy band classics. Helluva night!
