VMA Winner has Hidden Austin Ties

Austinite Actor and Director Daniel Isaac stars as the groom in the Panic! at the Disco video "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", which won Video of the Year at the 23rd annual MTV Video Music Awards. He is perhaps best-known locally as "The Guitarsonist" from last year's Air Guitar Championship at the Alamo Drafthouse.

For full disclosure, it should be said that Wylie Maercklein has produced two of Daniel Isaac's music videos, including the Versus shoot above; and worked with Daniel on a number of other films and music videos. He even threw a television at him in the 2003 film, "The Larkshead Society."
