I was there the day the children were taken. It was the most heartbreaking thing I have ever witnessed. Those boys begged us to run away with them or let them run and hide in the woods. Of Course we asked them to honor us and to leave with the CPS workers peacefully and please do not consider harming them because they are just the messengers. Around midnight that same night as we were waiting for probation officers to pick up thier childern I asked one of the boys if he knew where he was going and he said home. I told him I was happy he at least got to go home and he said "I am not this is the only place I have ever been where men act like fathers should". What Ms. Srayhorn did to those kids and the employees of Woodside Trails is a crime and I am just glad the truth is starting to come out. When trying to determine what should be done about what happened at Woodside one of the board members made the statement that just like the holocaust when good men stand back and do nothing then evil is allowed to rule.

chris bell -- even if he doesn't have a chance of winning, a strong showing helps the dem party build momentum for future elections.

Excellent points, austingal. Especially regarding the devil's spawn (*shudder*). Man oh man, who to vote for...who to vote for....

When listening to The Cougar I always remember that she is a CAREER POLITICIAN and only seeks to add another title to her resume. She's never done anything spectacular in her career other than have many different last names and hold a plethora of offices for which she had little to no experience.

And, I also remind myself that she is step-mom and thus had some influence on the devils spawn that is Scott "I'm not going to comment on an ongoing investigation" McClellan, Former Whitehouse press secretary. And his brother, Mark, who works at the FDA or HHS and was part of the Plan B politically motivated delay.

They are all dangerous people. This story about Woodside Trails just proves my point. Thanks for sharing the story.

What a heartbreaking story. "One tough grandma" indeed. I admit I've been swayed by many of Keeton Strayhorn's arguments (particularly her stance against the Trans-TX Corridor), but this will certainly make me think again.
