  • you can't, legally, redirect shower output to your yard. this sucks, since there's really not much risk; the city's just behind the curve on this one. Look up "greywater Austin" with your helpful evil google machine.

With a toddler in the house, I'm giving multiple baths/week and wishing I could redirect it to the backyard to at least keep the dust down...

  • I normally flush twice to be sure any unwanted residue has fully perished.

It may prove difficult to break this habit.

much better than the multiple-person bath or "shower while watering your foundation" ideas.

seriously though, I agree with letting the yards go - they will grow back - and trust me it is not hard to forget to flush (use your own discretion with this one).

    Conserve!

Take multiple-person showers (fun), collect water you might otherwise dump out to water plants, lawn, etc, read about water saving techniques on the internet, flush only when necessary, and STOP WATERING YOUR DAMN SIDEWALK! if you are that is. really, in times like this, you shouldn't be watering your lawn at all. so, um tell anybody you know with a yard. please conserve!

We need a nickname for Chris Bell.....

  • How about some Chris Bell goober coverage?

  • cb

I love the Kinky & Cougar goober coverage, giggle madly with every new iteration of "K's" name.

I'm serious, keep it up please.
