aGLIFF Trailer Contest Now Open

Less than two months away, the Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival (aGLIFF) is now hosting a trailer contest. Every year, aGLIFF solicits the talent of a select number of filmmakers to create unique trailers to be run before each screening. All styles and genres are acceptable, as long as they're relevant to this year's theme: Say What?

More info, from their site:

To be considered for the contest, filmmakers must adhere to the following specifications:

1. Submissions should be no longer than 45 seconds
2. The trailer must communicate the 2006 theme: Say What?
3. Trailer must be submitted on DVCam, miniDV or a QuickTime uncompressed file on DVD
4. Deadline: September 15, 2006
5. Decisions will be made: September 22, 2006
6. Trailer must be submitted with a completed entry form
7. By entering this contest, filmmaker agrees to give aGLIFF unlimited use of the trailer and understands that festival imaging are fully-owned by aGLIFF and cannot be used in any way other than the creation of these trailers, which will then be the property of aGLIFF

Three trailers will be selected from among the applicants, with finalists awarded a Producer II membership ($500 value) for the 2006-2007 season.
