Here are a few real estate listings that have come on the market in the past week:
1404 Kinney - Live near a superfabulous Austinist editor! $279,000, 1,014 square foot house across from the hottest apartment/townhome project in the city. Very close to Alamo Drafthouse South and all the hipness of South Lamar. |
1704 Travis Heights Boulevard - $410,000, 1,557 square foot beautiful brick home in the center of Travis Heights near Stacy Park. Interior looks great, especially if you're into the "paint every room a different color" thing. Easy enough to re-paint it all white. |
1806 Cedar Ave - $150,000! 672 square foot east side bungalow. Good trees, some nice wood floors. Paint the wood paneling and pull up the carpet, and you've got a nice house with a lot big enough to add on in the future. Great location near Manor Road and close to downtown. Those overhead powerlines are a bummer, but otherwise, this house looks like a deal. |
2806 French Place - $329,000, 1,173 square foot house on the southern edge of French Place. Nice floors and built-ins, cute backyard. Very close to restaurants on Manor Road. |

every time you post this segment, it creeps me out, because the picture at the top looks enough like my house on first glance that I'm afraid I'm being stalxored...

why on earth are you putting real estate postings on your blog? WTF? lame....
Damn! Those places are expensive!
Austin used to be the cheapest place in the country in which to live.
But then the friggin' high tech folks moved in.
ghost ride, you don't get a kick out of seeing what-all is for sale these days? I find it completely addictive. It's like getting to peek into other people's houses -- *and* see what they think they're worth. To me, these posts are the distillate fix for my pretty nasty habit.
