Special Sample Sale for Austin Designers Tonight

Fresh from the pages of Rare Magazine, we found out that nine local designers are getting together today for a special sample sale.

The participating designers are bringing special one-offs of everything from jewelry and cosmetics to vintage-inspired bridesmaid dresses and hip threads for pregnant ladies, with prices at up to 75% off of retail. Complimentary white wine from Cork & Co. will also be provided.

Ooooh, *love* those Linda Asaf bridesmaid dresses. How come none of the brides I ever schlepped train for ever set me up with something like that? Hmf.

And the Mommy Go Round stuff is cool, but so much of the prettier items (possibly *all* of them) are either handwash or dryclean. Sorry, but some mamas (myself included) really must have clothing of the wash-n-wear variety.
