We'll get the bad news out of the way first: Junior Boys, Hot Chip, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have all slighted Austin on their fall tour schedules. So if you were hoping for one of these shows, start saving for a JetBlue flight.
Thankfully, almost every other indie-Pitchfork-college rock band known to man will touch down in our town between now and Thanksgiving. There were a flurry of new show announcements over the past week, and nearly all of them included Austin. So whether you want to heckle Frank Black and request "Gigantic" or just nod your head to the newly crunk stylings of DJ Shadow, start planning your fall now. Other new names on the schedule include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Rogue Wave, Ratatat, and Architecture In Helsinki.

You can also add She Wants Revenge, playing at Stubbs again on Friday November 17th. It's likely that Pretty Girls Make Graves will be on that bill, since they play together in Houston the following night.
