See, we told y'all zoos were bad news. OK, maybe we didn't, but we thought that shtuff. Promise. Oh, yea, and moving in the summer in Texas also sucks.
Now we've got the proof.
A big rig was driving some exotic fish and everyone's favorite flightless bird to the Galveston Zoo when it lost control and took a spill on the freeway in East Texas. All of the exotic fish and one of the penguins died in the crash on Highway 59, near Marshall, Texas.
Three more penguins met their untimely end when they were run over by passing vehicles.
The animals were being shipped down to Galveston from the Indianapolis Zoo while officials Pimp'd their Crib.
The surviving 21 penguins hitched a ride on another refrigerated truck and are headed to Galveston. Sucks to be them.

That could be the worst thing I'll hear today. Marshall, TX residents will no doubt be enjoying penguin brisket for the next day or so.
