TC, egads, is not a bad footballer. I was quite impressed. See, socc-- er, football is not like most American sports where everyone is called upon to try really hard all the time. You're either naturally gifted and thus little effort is required, or you try really hard half the time and spend the other half trying to be invisible. Craig tries really hard, easily more than half the time, and with positive results. I was shocked. And also not.

So hot.

I can't hate on Figo and his Manchester manchild CRonaldo, he's very handsome. 90 minutes of running and you'll see who wants to dive. It's a little something known as "strategery" and if it gets you a lil' rest and a free kick from 30 out... ta-dow.

Adam, I try not to stand on anyone's package defense.

Edward, I do believe you're referring to the World Cup league of tender-footers, ruined by the entire teams of both Portugal and (to a slightly lesser degree) Italy. Zidane would have done the whole sport a favor by head-butting the entire Italian Squad to the pitch whilst trotting off on his trail of miserable loss.

Local leagues are to World Cup Soccer what "street ball" is to the NBA. I am expecting to see (and not see) a good deal of rough-play (accidental mehopes) amongst us amateurs.

Flopping, diving and crying will earn no medals like they appear to in world championship play.

Real footballers opt for no dong protection. Where do you stand on package defense TrueC?

I'll be an athletic supporter for your team provided your schedule doesn't conflict with the superior American football schedule.

I gotta give you props, with bar sponsored and 30+ teams when you guys collapse it'll be for real. Pro soccer players on the other hand take more dives than Greg Louganis. Hard to see how pro soccer will ever be taken seriously as a spectator sport state side as long as guys fall down flailing when someone looks at them wrong. I've seen better acting in the WWF.

Only if practices/games don't interfere with my weekly chemical peel. You know how I do.

And it cannot interfere with my team of choice: The Devillains. Or, De Villains. The Club De Villains? I don't really know how we're spelling ourselves, or what league we'll be sweating all over. But I do know how I'll be playing:

In serious pain. Bulleedat.
