Choose Your Own Weird Wednesday

Remember Choose Your Own Adventure? The series of books that nearly tricked you into thinking reading was fun? Well, tonight the Alamo Drafthouse is giving you the chance to relive the CYOA experience, minus the boring reading.

At tonight’s Choose Your Own Weird Wednesday, host Lars Nilsen will pull three bizarre, obscure, amazing films from the bowels of the Alamo library (no, that’s too booky…let’s say “film holding room”), and the audience will decide which one to watch.

We have no idea what the options will be, but with past titles like, The Rats are Coming The Werewolves are Here, Sexual Freedom in Brooklyn and Country Hooker, it’s sure to be an interesting assortment of cinematic gems. Plus, it’s free! So head over to the Alamo tonight and get your choose on.
