Austinist Show Preview: Miranda Sound at Red Eyed Fly Tonight

Columbus' Miranda Sound have been warming the hearts of post-punk loving Midwesterners for years, and Austinites finally get a chance to take in their live performance tonight at Red Eyed Fly.

They've been heralded as a "Fugazi for the next generation" (Playback St. Louis), and their latest album, Western Reserve, has been given accolades all over the music world. Produced by J Robbins (Promise Ring, Shiner) and engineered by Neal Schmitt and Jon Chinn, it's been called "the best release by one of Columbus's best bands" (The Other Paper).
