What's the deal with the heat? Oh yes, we're in Texas during the month of July. If we have one more person ask us if it's "hot enough for us" we're going to snap. Although perhaps we can melt some of those polar ice caps to help cool this place down. We assume that everyone was out at the lake, because there was apparently no one experiencing and posting missed connections. Even with the heat, we were still able to hunt down the best of last week's Missed Connections.

Last night on horrid 6th st - w4m - 24

You were outside smoking a cigarette, possibly many cigarettes since you stood there as long as I did. You were looking at me often. The least you could have done was tell me my zipper was down!!! I didn't notice until I got home...an HOUR later. Trust me, the two seconds of embarrassment (that both of us may suffer) from informing me beats the embarrassment of knowing that nearly all of 6th st on a Friday night got a glimpse of my goods! Next time, be a good samaritan. Please. For the sake of shy people like me.

What can you say, it's a valid request. Let's show a little courtesy people! Remember, if when you're out drinking, give folks a signal if they've forgotten to close the barn door after they've broken the seal.

I hope you found the airport okay. As soon as I drove away, I realized I told you north when I meant south. I felt so horrible, but there was no way to find you again. I really hope you didn't miss your flight.

That's what ya get for asking directions around here! Ya won't be coming back from Cali anytime soon will ya! Maybe next time you'll get a GPS. Trust us, it wasn't an accident.
