This video won the Drafthouse's Open Screen Night last month. Think you can best this Snakes On A Plane of garage rollerskating films?
To get your film screened at Open Screen Night, all you have to do is bring a copy of it with you to the theater anytime from 45 minutes before the showtime to the time of the show itself. We can show DVD, miniDV, VHS and even Beta if you really want us to. If you've got some other specialty format check with the theater before coming down and we'll see if we can accomodate you.When you get to the theater, check in with Henri in the lobby and he'll grab your film and get you all set up to see it debut in front of a room full of strangers.
If your movie is good and the audience likes it more than any of the other movies, we'll give you a $100 cash prize.
If your movie isn't so good and the audience doesn't like it, we'll let them gong it off the screen after 2 or 3 minutes have passed. So please, for your sake as well as ours, bring something good.

Put a little glide in your slide!! We are hosting a private party at a Roller Skate Rink on Saturday July 29th from 11pm-2am and are in dire need of some funky dancers. This 1970's Disco RollerSkate Party Theme will be the event of the year. We are looking for guys and girls to help get our revelers out on the skate floor with your terrific dance moves. Dancing experience preferred. This is, of course, a paying job, with rates to be discussed at a later time.
