In Money Magazine's annual Top Ten Best Big Cities list, published online yesterday, Austin came out in second place. Oddly enough, we weren't anywhere near the top for their separate rankings of metrics like Job Growth, Skinniest, Youngest, Safest, and Most Singles. According to the magazine's survey, our population of nearly 700,000 (over half of whom are college educated) has a healthy median age of just under 31 and spends almost $7000 a year on vacations.

yea, colorado springs is a great place to live... if you are white, conservative and christian. puhleeze.
College Station, TX, is rated #3 for singles. If you're looking to date a white, racist, goose-stepping Bush fan who loves guns & aggie football, CS is the place for you.
Colorado Springs?
I drove through there a few years ago. The place struck me as a typical military camp-follower town, only trashier than most.
What criteria are they using to rate places?
Looking at the list, they seem to be rating cities based on the highest amount of military firepower and soliders. I guess Camp Mabry ain't what she used to be.
Very interesting and professional site! Good luck! nokia6630
