  • Among the recommended ways to save gas: roll your windows up and turn off your AC. Just in Alaska, right, because it is supposed to be 101 degrees today in Texas! Save some gas, kill yourself...or something.
  • It makes us very sad to hear that some Texas State Parks might be closing soon.
  • Just when Austin gets a good thing someone has to go and ruin the fun for everyone. Apparently La Bare is illegal due to its proximity to Town Lake (a park) and the Texas School for the Deaf (a school).

Seriously, drunk women looking at half naked men are a threat to deaf students and park-goers? How is it that naive, uneducated, bible-thumping Republican soccer moms have a monopoly on City Council seats all over this country?
