Calling all Zombies!

Can you sing? Do you like to eat brains? Then Loaded Gun Theory needs you! We don't normally post audition notices, but (a) this show sounds like too damn much fun, and (b) a little birdie told us that LGT ran into a hitch getting their notice into the local press.

So here's the deal. If you know someone who loves to sing -- who, as Tim Thomas says "you NEVER, EVER bring on car trips" -- and you think they'd look mad bitchin' with sunken eyes, grey skin, and artfully displayed blood rivulets, then give 'em these details.

Auditions for Bitten! A Zombie Rock Odyssey, an original musical inspired by classic b-zombie movies:

• Dates: Rehearsing throughout August and September for shows in October and November.
• Audition: By appointment, this coming M/T/W, July 17, 18, and 19, 7-9:30 at the Dougherty Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Rd.
• To make an appointment: Call 280-2156 or email LGT.
• Bring to Audition: A prepared musical piece. You may use recorded accompaniment on CD, or bring sheet music for LGT's accompanist. Or just belt something out on your own! If you're brining a CD or sheet music, state this when making your appointment.
• These are unpaid roles. Unpaid zombie roles. But you might get some free brains. Braaaaains.
