To Kat: I remember seeing (very cute) athletic swim suits at the huge sports supply/equipment store that's next to Guitar Center in Northcross mall, sorry I can't remember the name. I'm guessing other sports shops (like Academy) would have them too. They had a lot when I was in there a month ago...Good luck!

you are correct, that is an unsexy question. but the answer to it is: if you're a competitive swimmer, and want aerodynamics for speed, you should wear as little as possible. that's all i have to say about that.

Not to ask an unsexy question, but does anyone know where I can get a good sturdy-but-attractive, quality two piece? REI has nothing good left, Cabelo's stuff is BORING, and I don't want cheap, jangly stuff (ie victoria's secret). I've looked at Lane Four as well, and they don't really have anything I like. I want it to tricks, like quick-dry and all that. Any professional swimmers with some tips for me?
