Stay Cool, Honeybunny

When we first got geared up to move to Austin, someone told us Austin was "bordering on lazy," which pleased us. Now, we have something to back up such blanket statements: Austin/San Marcos has been named one of the top "Chill Together" cities in the country.

Austin ranked 9th on the list put out by Sperling's BestPlaces and Bailey's Irish Cream (who, of course, would like to remind you to drink responsibly). Among Austin's chill attributes: a high number of coffee shops and high per capita expenditures on home entertainment.

So, nice effort guys. Now back away from the wireless connection and go back to drinking sangria on the patio.

The top 10 cities:
* No. 1, Portland, Ore./Vancouver, Wash.
* No. 2, San Francisco
* No. 3, Las Vegas
* No. 4, Denver
* No. 5, San Diego
* No. 6, Seattle/Bellevue/Everett, Wash.
* No. 7, Columbus, Ohio
* No. 8, Salt Lake City/Ogden, Utah
* No. 9, Austin/San Marcos
* No. 10, Sacramento
