Six Degrees of Austinites

Now in its third instantiation, the multimedia arts showcase dubbed Everyone Knows Everyone brings together some of Austin's creative types, spanning artistic mediums from music to performance art. Drawing on the success of last December's pre-holiday event, the production quality of tonight's EKEIII, at Emo's, seems to have grown tremendously in the past six months:

Throughout the evening, sets by Those Peabodys, Visitors, Mars Wars, Young Love, Rory + the Artificial Heart, and Pirates of Darkwater will be interspersed with turntable time by DJ Shane and Black Madonna. On the outside stage, they'll be showing off artwork and photography by Carlos Rosales-Silva, Ben Tipton, Wesley Rose, Christa Palazzolo, Kyle Tweedy, Casey Dunn, Kelly Bradford, Roberto Ainslie, Brian Danz, Cristina Mann-Garcia, Jay Sauder, Anthony Garza, and Austinist's own fine individuals, Justin "Juice" Cox and "Oh!" Jackie Young. There's also some sort of "performance art" by a group called Krazyazay; google turns up nothing on these guys, which almost makes it more compelling to go check 'em out.
