We totally missed this "story" on Wednesday, but because of a perceptive reader (thanks, Roz), we're all over it now:

Looking like a cross between Alfred E. Neumann and an exaggeration of Will Ferrell's Bush impersonation, 20-year old Pierce Bush -- nephew of Dubya, UT Austin Class of '08, and Wonkette
Douchebag of the Day back on March 13th -- was recently spotted on Facebook ... drinking shitty beer and consorting with transvestites!

In case you missed it, check out his TV appearance on Today
from back during the president's port deal fiasco:

that clip just made (or ruined) my weekend
Ew!
Must run in the family, ya know what I'm saying?
Geez, dude just reeks of privilege and date rape.
Every college student drinks! Who cares?!
Let the kid have a life.
This post makes the whole site look ridiculous.
it ain't me, it ain't me, i ain't no fortunate son.
oh, jack, come on now, guy. readers sent it to them so they posted it. i don't think anyone is saying he should not have a life. growing up on embassy row in DC, i know what it's like to be under a microscope for no doing of my own. it just comes with the turf. probably didn't need to put himself on the today show acting like an arrogant doofus, but, sure, let the kid have fun otherwise. i don't think it's all that viscious. silly, yes. but come on, not everyhting can be about african authors, gubernatorial races and wrongly fired teachers.
In Ireland we would call this guy a muppet.
his combover freaks me out.
in the first place, i strongly rescent this post. it is a flagrant attempt to mock what seems to be a good-natured kid who means perfectly well. i mean, let's be serious here for a second. the kid is in college at UT, he's about 18-19 years old, and he's living it up in the frat lifestyle. is it so bad that the kid had the privilege to enjoy the relaxation that comes with this society? come on. and furthermore, i respekt him for sticking up for his father's "port deal," which was a good idea that the liberal media just shot straight down. another case of sound public policy being ripped to shreds by the liberal media. whatever.
hey, rex.
i am not sure what "rescent" is but we were having a laugh at his clip more than anything. it is plain and simply good times. as for the port deal, you might want to check your facts a bit. repbulicans in congress, under the overblown, bs veil of being worried about our security in an election year threw as big a fit as anyone about it. regardless of your opinion, i don't resecent you, though.
I'm guessing Rex didn't go to UT - there is a very distinct difference between college frat life and UT Fiji life. Mainly a few zeros on the end of their parents' salaries vs. the parents of other frat kids.
