Craigslist: The Wackiness Returns

After a few boring and quiet weeks, last week's Missed Connections were ripe for the picking. We can only assume that with the beginning of great lake weather everyone was out making real connections, or just too exhausted to be posting online. Join us on a tour of the amusing and absurd as we recap the best CL had to offer.

mesa verde thief

That palm tree was not yours for the taking, give it back scumbag.

Who the hell steals a palm tree? We're not sure that "scumbug" was the appropriate word for a demented tree thief.

To the asshole who stole my credit card

I can't believe there are people in this world who will pick up a random credit card and think to themselves, "I'm going to get some free money." Who does that? It sucks that you're going to get away with it, because it costs more money to track you down than the credit card company is willing to pay. It sucks that you are getting away with it, and therefore you will continue to do it. Go earn some of your own damn money.

We're not sure what's up with the theft trend last week. Perhaps it was a ring of tree burglars attempting to finance their operation. Either way, we can certainly sympathize. Although we haven't had any plants stolen, we have been the victim of credit card theft. If you find out who it was, please invite us over for the lead pipe party.

How did this person use the internet to post this?! Seriously, we're not sure how that was even possible. Perhaps a broken keyboard or a head wound was responsible.

That's it for this week. If we missed any of your favorites just post them for us all to view. We'll be back next week with a new round up. Until then, may you find Peace, Love and Connections.
