Hyde Park Homes Tour

Exciting news from Hyde Park, a.k.a. the "fashionable part of the wealthiest and most aristocratic city in the land": the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association is sponsoring the 31st Annual Hyde Park Homes Tour this weekend, Saturday, June 17th from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday, June 18th from 1 PM to 5 PM. Tickets are available at the Elisabet Ney Museum (304 E. 44th St) on the days of the tour at $15 for adults and $7.50 for kids (age 6-13). Kids under 6 are disregarded for remuneratory purposes. You can save a couple bucks by buying tickets today at the Fresh Plus at 408 East 43rd Street, NeWorlDeli at 4101 Guadalupe or the Austin Visitor's Center at 301 Congress Avenue, Suite 200. Check the website for more information, historical information on some of the houses and a cool mouse-over with new-pics/old-pics.
