Minimum Exposure = Maximum Impact

Good God, people, listen up! There's never been a sexier, more feminine swimsuit than the One Piece Side Cutout. While we realize that the triangle suit and boyshort bottoms are also a summer hit among ladies on the block, who really cares about those anymore when you could have a suit like this? Sure, it can create an uneven tan line, but that's what Aveeno SPF 30 is for. It's no wonder why this suit amazes all women: it fully accentuates the sensuality of the curve, and it's only $38 from American Apparel. You can show it off without letting it all out. Isn't that what you do anyways when getting dressed to go out? Please don't let yourself down this summer trying to run with the crowd that dons the tired bikini. Don't be like that girl who orders plain vanilla. Wear your cutout one-piece and demand chipotle chocolate! You won't be sorry.

If you like the idea of this suit, but want one that is actually attractive and functional then check out www.alloy.com. (Yes, it's a clothing site for 13 year old girls so just skip past the acne ads and go shop.) They have a similar suit in lots colors, all with a nicer shape, fit, AND a detachable halter strap AND a shelf bra for support AND those conveinent removable pads to tame your nips when swimming in the freezing river.

can we bring back the cutout bathing suits from the 80's? i had one that i believe was turquoise on bottom and purple on top, connected by ties on the sides (sort of the opposite of the one shown above because the middle was cut out). also lead to a strange tan, but i was 9. no fear of losing your bottoms when cliff jumping either.

well i like it. the beach gets boring with the same ol' same ol' year after year. "shark bite" suits for liiiiife

  • not a mysoginist

it is unflattering to the T and I can't see the A.

    booh hooh

  • Well, crap. I was going to slip into one of these little numbers and go surf myspace at Barton Springs this afternoon.

But I guess I'll settle for a two-piece. Something flossy.

thanks for all your input guys... honestly, i thought the swimsuit was very unique. like it or hate it, it is a great price for what it is. (plus, i just really hate bikinis)

    From a man's perspective:

It sucks. Looks really ugly to me. Did you get a free one or something, Jackie?

It only accentuates curves if you don't have any. I agree with the women above, the tube top is unforgiving to women who actually do have breasts.

  • HHH

thank you thank you thank you!

  • What is that bathing suit doing to that poor woman's breasts?! I like the side cut outs, but that thing seriously needs straps. There is nothing as unattractive as a woman hiking up her tube top every few minutes. And you would not want to do any diving in this one, that's for sure.

Ew, yuck! Really? I think the suit looks awful!! And the photo must be the *best* example of how it would look....

Boobs are smooshed. The hard horizontal line across the top is jarring. And makes me think that if I stood up straight or arched my back I'd have a wardrobe malfunction....

The best part of the midriff is covered. The ribs are halfway covered in a way I find really alarming. And oddly, the scoopy shape of the cutouts seems to accentuate the belly pooch.

I'm sure the model is a lovely young woman, but I'm thinking she'd look much better in a bikini. Call me old fashioned!
