I think that any college softball game, national championship or otherwise, is by definition "obscure." Nobody watches that shit. Except if Jennie Finch is doing the commentary. Mmmmm. Tasty.

it is apparently one of the biggest female sporting events in america. either that or everyone just hates hockey. to wit: the softball on ESPN netowrks pulled bigger ratings numbers than the first game of the Stanley Cup Finals. wow.

I would hardly call the finals of the women's college world series an "obscure" softball game. And yes, Arizona softball players are babelicious. UT catcher Megan Willis, who hails from that state, looks like a Glamour cover model.

If I know anything about Arizona softball, there were definitely some sexy bitches on the menu for that game. I'd probably watch that babefest over hockey as well...if I was drunk and lonely.
