Time to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Dionysium

Two years ago LB Deyo and Buzz Moran first gathered the faithful for a unique festival of intellect and revelry called The Dionysium. Tonight, we're all invited to celebrate that event, with "another scintillating monthly installment of cerebral stimulation, cultural enlightenment and ill-advised drunkenness."
Here's the line-up for the June Dionysium:
- Owen Egerton of the Sinus Show will read his short story "Waffle," while someone else sits in the front row and makes jokes over the PA.
- Filmmaker Kat Candler (Jumping Off Bridges) will screen her short film Roberta Wells.
- In a debate featuring the two members of Austin's restaurant community with the most similar-sounding names, Kerbey Lane Cafe's Will Slayton will square off against Will Creighton of the Culinary Arts department at Austin Community College over the pulse-pounding resolution: "Tipping at bars and restaurants should be eliminated in favor of paying servers a regular salary."
- Dionysium Program Director Mike O'Connor will recommend the book American Dream: Three Women, Ten Kids, and a Nation's Drive to End Welfare by Jason DeParle
