Pinback, This Friday at Emo's

West coast indie pop wizards Pinback (Armistead Burwell Smith IV, Rob Crow et al) will be performing at Emo's this Friday, with Mary Timony opening.

Since 1998, Smith and Crow have been the mainstay members of Pinback, which features a rotating cast of west coast musicians specializing in the complex yet melodic brand of pop the band is known for. Crow fans know him from Heavy Vegetable and Goblin Cock, and perhaps they were lucky enough to catch his in-store at Waterloo during SXSW -- we weren't.

Pinback promises to be a great show, so head to Emo's this Friday at 10 pm to catch Timony and Pinback on the outside stage. Tickets are available through Pinback's site or Emo's.
