Those was the best thing ever posted on Austinist. I too have purchased a bike for many of the same reasons as the author. I haven't fallen over yet, but I have ridden it under I-35 going east/west. It's not fun and those homeless people seem to think I've got spare change in my backpack just because I'm riding around on a pricey 2 wheeler. Fuckers.
