Wanna fight a dragon or bareback ride a nuclear missile into outer-space? Well, if you've got the money, Austin Studios now has the goods you need to fulfill your green screen fantasy. A new 40-by-20 foot blue screen wall has been added to Stage One at Austin Studios. The wall is composed of a curved screen incorporating floor and wall, thereby making it appear as one seamless unit.
Austin Studios' director of operations Rachel Blackney says, ""The wall is a great addition to our facility and will be a valuable asset to encourage productions to come to Austin."
The wall was left by the production teams who shot a children's educational video here in town. The video starred John Walsh of America's Most Wanted. (Here would be a good time to tell the little story about our friend working on an AMW shoot in Denver where a noticeably inebriated Walsh was publicly urinating behind a downtown building. Or it would be. You know, if we were catty and shit.)
Austin Studios has already played home to 60 productions, including Mike Judge's Idiocracy.

Why bust on "a noticeably inebriated Walsh [who] was publicly urinating behind a downtown building."?
This describes some of my favorite Austinist contributors on most days of the week.
oh, not busting, ed. in the overused words of the fake rick james, "it's a celebration, bitches."
