mcmANUS, while you are correct about my fanboy support of the angels, i'm sticking to my guns on the boycott... not necessarily because i hate acl and the way that they handled the presale, but because i just don't find this year's lineup all that exciting. however, i would really like to see wolf parade, the lips, tom petty, the shins, willie, massive attack, and of course, the black angels. surely atleast some of these bands will play other shows around town during the festival, most likely not in sweltering, dust-bowl conditions. and in case you didn't know, acl actually handled the mishap with the presale about as well as they could, sending out "goodie packages" to all of those that complained about the process. i'm sure it won't be complimentary tickets, but it's something.

I bet that guy from Showgazer.net will spend the $115+ so he can continue his fanboy support of the Black Angels... while also bitching and moaning about it nonstop. :)
