Belaire Is So Not Breaking Up

But that's what most of us have been led to assume, considering the XY-chromosomed half of the band are spending most of their time touring the country with Voxtrot and one of the twins is moving to New York -- or was it Los Angeles? We're not sure. We get our information tripled-filtered.

Also, just wanted to clear a few things up about some of the rumours going round.

We are NOT breaking up. We are playing a few shows before going on HIATUS from playing live shows for a while. But, we are in the middle of recording our first full length album, which we hope to have out this fall on some (as of yet) undetermined label.

Ok, but they're still playing a "farewell" show in early June. Bid them a premature bon voyage tonight at The Parish, where they're opening for Brothers and Sisters and Essex Green.

If it looks, sounds and feels like a breakup - It probably is a breakup. Sounds like Belaire is in denial. Wish I could go to the show, everyone should go unless they feel like spending the rest of their days hearing about how they missed out on a great band's last show.
