This Thursday, Ceeplus pays us a visit from his Houston venues to tap the turntables of Beauty Bar. He’ll be joining up with other Austinist favorites Prince Klassen and New Berlin in a combined effort to get you drunk enough to make out with whoever it is you’ve been scamming on for the past three months.

You really should just go for it, for crying out loud. They soooo want you.

From what we’ve been told (rumors are cooler than leather shovel-toe quarter-boots), Beauty Bar has figured out the whole credit card machine thing, so it’s no longer a cash-only situation. We got stuck out pretty bad one night because our wallet is rarely liquid, and the liquids are what we need, but plastic is all we had (ever have, really, ‘cause we love debt like a fat kid loves… fat, pretty much. Okay then).

We’re REALLY hoping they have that Pint of Lone Star + Shot of Whisky* for $5 deal. It’s so… cowboy. And it might be a good way for us to keep our bar tab under $50, which would make our accountant more than pleased.
