"What If We Could Get It All Back?" Art Show

schliefke.jpg

Last year, we had a great time at the Bolm Studio's 'Will There Ever be a Rainbow' unicorn art show which Ian Shults and Michael Schliefke produced and which the Austin Chronicle put on their top ten best list of group shows.

And now we're looking forward to seeing the latest display of new paintings by Michael Schliefke at Bolm Studios. Schliefke's site gives more detail about the opening:

In addition to roughly twenty new paintings built around themes currently being developed in his studio, Michael will also be displaying some screen prints worked on collaboratively with JD Fanning and Josh Chalmers at East Austin's Bearded Lady Printing. The prints will work from Michael's original imagery, and combine the skills and talents of Bearded Lady to create new work in a different medium.

The gallery hours for the show are by appointment from April 17 - May 7, 2006. But since we like the drunken hubbub of gallery openings, we're planning to be at the reception on Friday, April 21, 2006 from 6pm - 11pm.
