Sure, David Sedaris is all the rage. And with good reason. His faux-angry satire always provides us with a hearty laugh. Even more so when we hear him read it. He's one of the great humor writers in the country today.

Here's the catch, he's not even the funniest person in his family. We love David but give us Amy Sedaris any day. The absurdly funny Amy has kept us laughing for years with her amazing performances, from her collaborations with David to her star-turn as Jerri Blank, an aging high school student and former junkie whore, on Strangers with Candy. Most recently she has kept us entertained with her column Sedaratives, found in one of our most favorite magazines, The Believer . And while "Jerri" left us almost six years ago when "Strangers With Candy" left the air, she is making a glorious return, this time via the written word.

As many of you know, Amy has been on sabbatical from her column-writing duties over these past few months. Though she will remain on vacation for the time being, she's just announced an exciting replacement for the summer.

For our June/July and August issues, Jerri Blank will be taking over as guest columnist for Sedaratives. We're looking for letters about prostitution, the prom, STDs, incest, personal hygiene, and anything else that a woman of Jerri's background might feasibly be able to answer.
