Putting the "ug!" in "Smug!"

Some things are so obviously ripe for bashing and ridiculing that it almost doesn't seem fair to take a shot. Some things are so loathsome and nauseating that you wouldn't want to deride them for fear that your disdain might swallow you whole. The story that appears on the front of today' s Statesman fits into both of those categories. So, while we would like to use this space for a satirical piece about class and self-satisfaction and...screw it, we're gonna stop trying to explain ourselves and just let the article speak for itself.
