(Pillow) Fight Club – this Thursday!!!

Our mission here is a difficult one since, as we all know, rules number one and two prohibit us from talking about, uh, Fight Club. But we're going out on a limb here to get the word out so you know where to go and what to do this Thursday at Auditorium Shores.

We aren’t saying, we’re just sayin’ that this Thursday a little before 8pm, there may be tons of people who just so happen to show up at Auditorium Shores with backpacks containing pillows. And all those people might, just might, at the stroke of 8pm as indicated by the ringing of the bell tower, and not a moment before, bust out their pillows and engage in a balls-out pillow fight the likes of which has never been seen before. Woohoo! Go spread the word. Apparently a similar public pillow fight in San Francisco had over 1000 attendees. We can do better than that, Austin! Just remember that this is a fluffy, fun fight folks, so please follow the rules. Just sayin’. . .

I was there and it was super. Just super. After my roommate tuckered out, I stole her pillow and started in on the melee. Then I saw this cute red-headed girl in an awesome blue dress and brown boots. I even got to sock her with the pillow once or twice. If you're reading this blue-dress girl, you should call me for a rematch.

and why do I have to bring my pillow in a backpack? I usually tote my around in its own convenient carrying case.
