The annual University of Texas tradition known as the Orange-White Scrimmage takes place this Saturday afternoon. The Texas Football Spring Jamboree is set to begin at 4 pm with the Orange-White scrimmage kicking off at 6 pm. If you can't wait for the football season to come, or just want to have a great afternoon taking in some free fun, then head on down to DKR this Saturday afternoon. Admission to both events is free.

The jamboree begins at 4 p.m. on the lawn of the LBJ Library at 23rd Street and Dedman Drive. It will feature an inflatable moonwalk, inflatable bungee run, inflatable superslide, carnival games, giveaways and a lot more. Also present will be the "No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine" auto, which will be driven by Michael Waltrip, for the upcoming NASCAR Busch Series race on Saturday, April 8, at Texas Motor Speedway. The car features a special paint scheme to honor the Longhorns' National Championship.

The scrimmage will take place inside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with the first 3,000 fans through the gates receiving a National Championship mini-football, courtesy of Time Warner Cable. Gates open at 4 p.m. The scrimmage will also be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net Southwest tv as well as on radio station KVET-1300.
