Morrocan on the Drag

morocco_flag.jpg

Remember Mojos? Well, starting tonight it is Cafe Kasbah, and instead of coffee and the opportunity to watch the neighborhood artist doodle in his pad, you get Moroccan food 24/7. Yes, that's right, all day and all night. Sometimes Denny's just doesn't cut it, does it? Sometimes you are craving some tagine barrogog bis basela. We understand.

Cafe Kasbah is having an opening night bash this evening (Friday, March 31st) beginning at 7pm. There will be food, of course, as well as art and music. Let's support our local businesses and help keep this place from becoming another Drag casualty. Go rock the Kasbah, people. Sorry, we had to. You understand.

Cafe Kasbah
GRAND OPENING
2714 Guadalupe (where Mojo’s used to be on the drag)
Friday, March 31st 7 pm

A 24 hour place? We were in dire need of it on the drag. I'm looking forward to going there.

My sister went to the grand opening without cash- only a credit card, and their credit cards aren't up and running yet. But the manager gave her food and drinks on the house! According to her, it was quite delicious too.

    Denny's never cuts it.

As nostalgic as I am about Mojo's, the place was going downhill as soon as Wade, the original owner, sold the place. I welcome Cafe Kasbah and look forward to eating there.
