Mr. Editors, let me introduce you to your new best friend, Ms. Adverse Selection. Ms. Adverse Selection, I know that you just won a Nobel Prize, but could you comment on your new hire? Hmmm...not surprising, really, your silence, but let's just say that it is a pleasure getting to....wait, fuck I got the wrong Nobel Prize. It was the winners curse problem I wanted. Or really both. yea, we were really impressed with the responses, too. very cool. as for the Shot in the Dark thing. i tried to start a weekly column highlighting the best of CL missed connections, but it seemed hard to find good ones. so many are so generic and lame and are full of people without much balls or originality, but we may try and pick that up again and use the AC S-in-the-D as a resource. thanks, john

100, that's crazy. I hope one of your picks is for someone to pick up that idea for a 'best of austin shot in the dark' ads. Even if you just find the best ads shot in the dark or otherwise, that'd be cool to read a weekly best of craigslist like what they already have on cl, but strickly austin ads and with some of your witty commentary.
