Free Flicks Al Fresco

beeslice.jpg

We know the first day of spring was last Monday according to the calendar, but to us the real first day of spring comes this Wednesday with the return of the free Movies in the Park series. This year’s lineup looks suhweet and there will even be some Alamoesque pre-show antics like a dodgeball game before the movie, “Dodgeball”. (Duck and cover, man!)

Take Fido, food, a frisbee and a folding chair, but leave the 40s at home – no booze allowed. There will be refreshments for sale, including Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. (So expect Odam to be in an ice cream coma in the corner of the park somewhere.) Pre-show activities begin at 7pm and films start rolling at dusk. Movies are shown at Republic Square Park and run through May. This Wednesday's film is School of Rock. Click here for the full schedule.

*Due to the rainy weather, we are not sure whether this event will be postponed or not. Check back here for updates.*
