- The scene in Baghdad sounds worse than an exaggerated movie about crime in Detroit. Violence including bombings, drive-by shootings and murders are out of control, having killed thousands of people already.
- Immigration reform is becoming a priority on Bush's agenda. He'll be in Cancun next week to discuss policies with Mexican President Vicente Fox.
- Outfielder Barry Bonds is planning to sue the author and publishers of a book called Game of Shadows that alledges his use of steroids and other performance-enhancing products.
- Okay people. We only have 100 years to stop what we're doing to ensure that the giant Arctic glacier stops melting. Come on- we are at risk of losing the Bahamas!!
- Parking in Central Austin sucks, we know. But the Parking Benefit District is taking steps to help alleviate the problem in some neighborhoods.
