Rollergirls, We Hardly Knew Ya

txrd.jpg

A & E has dumped Rollergirls. No new episodes will be produced and the nation will never know what will become of Punky Bruiser's career in comedy. The art and fashion shows of Lux, Venis Envy and their respective men will go unaired. Bummer. I really enjoyed the "Orange" show, especially when Venis Envy turned to her boyfriend afterwards and said "I am so making out with you tonight." Of course we live in Austin, so it isn't like we can't go to a show at the Thunderdome and enjoy all our city has to offer, but it was kind of special to see it all through the camera lens.

Scanning the Rollergirls site on A&E, it looks like the last three episodes will air back to back on Sunday, April 2nd starting at 11am.

People seem surprised, but as I have pointed out to a few people already, there haven't been any cameras following any of them all season. So it kinda didn't come as a surprise, at least to the rollergirls anyway.

That show fucking sucked, good riddance.
