Do you miss football already? Have you actually gotten excited about Terrell Owens signing with the Cowboys despite his pending destruction of the team...just because you know it means there will be games on again someday? If so, Austinist suggests a fix in the form of an Austin Wranglers Arena Football game this Saturday at the Erwin Center.
Austin's AFL squad recently returned from a lengthy road trip (caused by a UT basketball homestand), and handily dispatched of Kansas City 64-37 in their most recent home game on 3/18. The Wranglers are actually tearing up the AFL this year; they're currently first in their division with an impressive 6-2 record. By the way, did you notice that 64-37 score? We don't know much about arena football, but that basketball-like score makes us feel that you certainly won't be bored at these games.
This Saturday's game is against the Orlando Predators (who are 4-4 this year) at 7pm. Ticket prices range from $7.50 to $40. Hell, with them scoring 100 points a game, for the $40 ticket they might let you kick a field goal.
Tickets available via Texas Box Office. Photo via AustinWranglers.com.
