Don't Drink in Public Unless You're Kinky

DALLAS - Gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman was the Grand Marshal in a St. Patrick's Day parade this past weekend. He wore his black hat, smoked his cigar, and tossed back his pint of Guinness. He then proceeded to show off his mad beer bonging skills with a tall boy of Lonestar... wait that was me last night. But I digress...

"Guinness is the drink that kept the Irish from taking over the world. It would be unthinkable not to have a Guinness during a St. Patrick's Day parade. In fact, it would be spiritually wrong," Friedman said in a statement issued by spokeswoman Laura Stromberg.

The Dallas Morning News showed photographs of Friedman holding the beer, but Lt. Rick Watson, from the Dallas police department, stated that he cannot be ticketed after the fact because it wasn't witnessed by an officer.
