- Still developing: A woman's body was found in the road in East Austin this morning.
- Forgione's plan (that we mentioned in January) is rolling along: school officials are looking into turning Porter Middle School into a leadership academy for gals.
- Cedar Park is picking up more development, including some along what will soon be toll road.
- Yes, the crisis in Sudan is still going on (and getting worse). The Archbishop of Canterbury is visiting the country to check things out. He also spoke out against the US camp at Guantanamo Bay yesterday.
- The trial for 9/11 suspect Zacarias Moussaoui begins today in VA.
- Kirby Puckett, one of our favorite former Twins players, suffered a stroke yesterday morning.
- Sure you know the Oscar results by now, but how did your favorite film rank at the Independent Spirit Awards?
- Tom Cruise don't like people talking smack about his strange religion, even if they do own magazine empires.



Puckett died this afternoon, sadly.
